Recommended workflow for preparing a new tracking domain before using it in Axalot campaigns.

Before adding the domain
Prepare a clean hostname:

Buy or prepare the domain in the registrar account.
Add the clean lowercase domain in Axalot.
Copy the expected nameserver values from the domain row when they are available.
Set those nameservers at the registrar.
Wait for DNS propagation and re-check NS valid.
Confirm the domain is alive before selecting it in campaigns.
DNS changes are not instant
Registrar and nameserver updates can take time to propagate. A domain can be saved in Axalot before it becomes healthy.
Acceptance checklist

| Domain format | Lowercase hostname only. |
| Nameservers | Current NS match expected NS. |
| Health | Domain is alive. |
| Cloudflare | Headers match expected Cloudflare handling when applicable. |
| Campaign use | Domain is selected only after checks pass. |
