Offers best practices
Recommended setup rules for Axalot affiliate networks, offers, offer links, revenue, macros, and campaign destinations.
Goal
Offer setup should make campaign routing and postback attribution easy to audit.
Network first
Create partner-level settings before offers.
Offer second
Store revenue and country macro rules on the offer.
Link last
Use offer links as campaign-ready destinations.
Postback aligned
Click id, status, revenue, and currency must match partner postbacks.
Recommended setup order
Create the affiliate network.
Map statuses and postback macros.
Create the offer with revenue behavior.
Add country macros only if the partner URL needs them.
Create offer links and test macro placement.
Select offer links in campaign rotation.
Practical rules
| Area | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Names | Include geo, platform, and payout model when helpful. |
| Revenue | Use base revenue for fixed payouts; use postback revenue for dynamic payouts. |
| Country macros | Keep country groups small and mutually exclusive. |
| URL offer links | Pass {click_id} whenever the network needs attribution. |
| Local offer links | Use only with a valid landing. |
| Telegram offer links | Keep attribution window between 1 and 7 days. |
| Inactive records | Disable before deleting if campaigns may still reference the object. |
Do not create links before the offer exists
Offer links require an affiliate network and an offer. If the link form has no offers, create or activate an offer for the selected network first.
