Offers FAQ

Common Axalot questions about affiliate networks, offers, offer links, revenue, macros, and campaign rotation.

An offer stores commercial settings such as affiliate network, revenue behavior, and country macros. An offer link is the concrete destination used by campaign rotation.

Offer links require an affiliate network and an offer. Select a network first, then create or select an offer under that network.

TypeUse when
URLThe destination is an external partner URL.
LOCALThe destination is an internal landing.
TELEGRAMThe destination is a Telegram bot/channel flow.

Should revenue come from the offer or postback?

Use base revenue for fixed payouts. Use postback revenue when the partner sends dynamic revenue per conversion.

Why are country macros rejected?

Check:

  1. Country codes are valid ISO-2 codes.
  2. Each group has at least one macro value.
  3. A country is not reused in another group.
  4. The offer has no more than 5 country macro groups.

Why is {click_id} important?

The affiliate network usually needs click id to send a conversion back to Axalot. If the click id is not passed into the partner URL, incoming postbacks may not match the original click.

Campaign rotation depends on offer links

If an offer link is disabled or deleted while campaigns use it, routing can break. Disable and test carefully on live campaigns.
